About Bob’s German Auto Center

In 1980, we opened at the corner of Highway 101 and Cliff Street, our flagship location in Solana Beach. In 2015, we expanded our operations to N. Cedros Ave. across from the Solana Beach train station and rebranded as DRIVE AutoCare to better reflect our full-service repair and maintenance capabilities. DRIVE AutoCare employs San Diego County's finest ASE-certified mechanics who consistently earn 5-star quality rankings. We invest in the latest technologies and operate a spotless, well-organized facility with a respectful work environment.

    I took my son's Volvo 2017 V60 in to have freon added for the AC and to check why the coolant keeps on running low. As usual great, quick, getting things completed and diagnosed. Decide at this time not to address a potentially expensive coolant issue. Not problem for them they just wrapped it up and I picked up the car. These guys are great.
